Date: 6th-13th of August 2008

Proposals of scientific program:

• We would like ICPS to result in a scientific collaboration between students in the future. We suggest the lectures to be given in smaller, more specialised groups, depending on participants` field of interest. With this change the participants will have more time for the lectures and more time for the follow-up discussion. We are ready to prepare up to five parallel sessions, depending on the amount of the lectures to be delivered.
• We will try to encourage as many people as possible to give their own lectures. A unique gift is considered...
• A handbook and a CD with all papers and presentations should be given to participants before the conference. The electronic version of handbook should be available on the Internet so people could choose the most interesting lectures and events. Posters ahould be presented two days before the poster session - participants will have much more time to study them and the follow-up discussion would be more intense.

Accommodation:
The participants will stay at the biggest students dormitory of AGH University of Science and Technology. The dormitory is very close to the conference buildings (about 10 minutes walk) and Old Town (20 - 30 minutes walk). The dormitory consists of double and triple renovated rooms, toilets are shared (one for 4 rooms). Participants will have possibility to stay in the rooms one day before the conference (not included in the fee, cost 6 Euro per person, please inform us by an e-mail). The kitchens for preparations to National Party are available in the dormitory. Some photos are available here.

Participants:
The conference is open for all members of International Association of Physics Students. It is intended for students of physics or related areas, both undergraduate and postgraduate.

Fee:
In case of early registration (before 1 May 2008) the conference fee is 155 Euro. In case of late registration (after 1 May 2008) the conference fee is higher and is 180 Euro. It covers accommodation, full board and conference materials.
